JJ Ball is the creator and operator of the Old School Vanilla server, having started it on August 9, 2026. He is responsible for running and maintaining the Minecraft server and accompanying Discord server.

JJ Ball is known for rarely logging into the server, but when he does, he typically only spectates bases, occasionally giving a rating out of 10.
